Product description

Hazardous Chemical Labels are used to alert companies that handle and transport flammable gases. These stickers, also known as Hazchem labels, warn workers and handlers that class 2.1 flammable gases are contained within the package and to alert them of the potential hazards associated.

At 100mm x 100mm in size, these labels come in rolls of 500 perforated on a roll for easy application and dispensing. Made with premium grade PVC material, these labels have strong adhesion to ensure they stay in place even in harsh environments.

Class 2.1 flammable gases are dangerous as they can ignite at a concentration of just 13% or less in air. They also have a wide flammable range of at least 12%, regardless of the lower flammability limit. These gases can be either lighter or heavier than air, with heavier than air gases posing an even greater risk as they can collect in low lying areas such as pits, depressions, and drains.

To clearly communicate the presence of potentially dangerous goods, Class 2.1 flammable gas labels are specifically designed to stick to emergency information panels, shipping containers, and bulk storage containers. By visibly labelling these areas where hazardous gases are stored or transported, you can ensure the safety of their workers and anyone who may encounter these substances.

Features and benefits:
  • Effective method of warning handlers of dangerous and hazardous class 2.1 flammable gases.
  • PVC tape with premium grade adhesive.
  • Size: 100mm x 100mm.
  • 500 labels per roll.
  • 76mm core to fit a regular tape dispenser or bench top label dispenser.
